Tagore Memorial High School Book Drive

Our mission is to provide opportunities for students to advance their studies beyond high school. Not only are we committed to collecting books for Tagore Memorial High School, but with help from our sponsors, members from the Leadership and Service Council will be traveling to Berbice, Guyana to conduct a two-week workshop called “Promoting Higher Education through Literature.” Our goal is to promote education beyond the classroom, and implement a thirst for knowledge. Giving students simple resources such as textbooks would aid them significantly. Ultimately, we are hoping that their education goes beyond the high school experience. With these books, students will both develop their reading skills and have a better chance at continuing their studies.
