Shatta Youth AKA “The GT Representa” was born in Georgetown, Guyana. Shatta Youth is an outstanding new emerging Soca/Reggae artist. From an early age, the Youth began exercising his voice and vocal skills, and after meeting up with some friends “LiL Slim and “Beanz” he had then fallen into the lyrical game of extending his vocabulary and his creative techniques in appealing to people through words and expression. Shatta Youth has done performances with one of Guyana’s best Chutney/Soca artist, the Guyana Baboo himself “Terry Gajraj”. Shatta Youth was introduced to Terry through his cousin WR Reaz, one of Guyana’s most famous TV personnel and from then on he began meeting other artists such as: “Adrian Dutchin”, “King Raj”, “Apache Waria”, and others. After meeting up for the video shoot of the song “Rum Drinkahz” by Terry Gajraj and Adrian Dutchin, Shatta Youth met with one of the biggest man behind the scenes “Mr. Avinash Singh”, the mastermind behind the Supertones Band. Shatta Youth had then started recording songs through the Supertone Production, including his hit song, “Wine Up On Me” and “Bashment Party”. The Youth is looking forward to making the best of his opportunities and showing off Guyana’s talent.
